Every year in the fall OUMS travels to New York to visit multimedia firms.
This year we plan to visit places like The Wall Street Journal, SquareSpace, Perkins & Will, FreeAssociation and Carrot Creative. On Friday night there was a large social gathering of VisCom alumni and friends.

From September 2012 through August 2013 I servered as the acting director of Academic Technology at Ohio University. When the CIO asked me to take this one year appointment, I decided to take a break from teaching so I could learn about other aspects of the University, meet new people and develop new skills.

Cincinnati Bell contacted me with one of the strangest assignments I've ever had. The wanted me to come to Cincinnati and make studio portraits of the CEO with zombies. I spent the day in a studio with a bunch of zombies.

Moonstruck Burlesque is an Athens Ohio base theater group which performs regionally. Recently I spent the day with this group of ladies making portraits for their promotional materials.

Just before the election, President Obama was making alot of visits to Ohio to campaign, and one stop was in Athens Ohio. Because his official photographer, Pete Souza, is a faculty member in my department, I was able to meet The President.
